Victorian Pink Garnet and Pearl Cluster

This dainty cluster was made in France and dates to the late 19th century. It features two claw set and round cut pink garnets placed vertically with a seed pearl set on each side. The ring is crafted in 18K gold and the band is of a D-shaped cross section.

UK size M, US size 6.25, 1.31g gold, bezel measures 3.5mm north to south, stones test as garnets

French eagle head hallmark indicates 18K / .750 French gold made post-1838 (source: World Hallmarks – Vol I by Hallmark Research Institute).
