18k Gold Bethlehem Zaytun Lemon Seed Pendant on Cord

18kt gold lemon seed pendant situated on Pippa’s signature gold cord, handmade in Bethlehem.

“A year and a half ago, I travelled to Bethlehem to embark on a new project. There, I had the pleasure of meeting the artisans of the Golden Zaytouna workshop, Tawfeeq and Samer Qattan, father and son, and Nadira Alaraj. Their work focuses particularly on the olive leafan ancient symbol of peace and wisdom and a source of life and livelihood. Im pleased to be able to share the Zaytun (Olive) collection, which celebrates their traditional techniques in 18kt gold. The other seed and pod shapes – fig, barley, lemon seed, almond, and pomegranate – are made by the same artisans. These seeds and fruit from this special part of Palestine are the life sources for many.

Sales of the collection will directly support the artisans who handcrafted the pieces, and 20% of profits will also support the charity World Central Kitchen.”- Pippa Small.
